ALL CHANGE BEGINS IN THE REALM OF THOUGHT
"Samskara can be technically translated as "well planned action" (Sam = well planned Kara = "action undertaken"). In practice, it represents our habitual thought patterns 9good or bad) that are strengthened over time. When we practice yoga, we aim to override the negative samskaras and strengthen the brain pathways to seek out new patterns of love, kindness and compassion for ourselves and others. These thought patterns are especially strengthened when done intentionally - hence the well planned action".
