The Far North Quilt Trail was initiated on the traditional territories of the Dena Peoples of the lower Tanana River - we gratefully acknowledge this in thanks to the original inhabitants that stewarded this land since time immemorial.
Dragonfly

painted by Somer Hahm
commissioned by Lynne Standley Coe
Special thanks to the Ken Coe and Lynn Standley Coe for putting Harding Lake, Alaska on the Far North Quilt Trail map.
Lynn was excited about a color way of painting/postcard by local Fairbanks artist John Jodwalis. Utilizing theses gem colors as inspiration, visual artist Somer Hahm created this version of the Dragonfly quilt block.
Installed in August of 2023 and the artwork is visible to the public from Salcha Drive.
